Dahlia Star Wars is a compact, single flowered variety. Part of the ‘Dark Angels’ series of Dahlias. Because of its small stature (only growing to 50cm tall), this little gem is the ideal pot plant. its mix of pink, peach and yellow petals with a dark centre will really make it stand out in the garden.
Dahlia Star Wars has dark foliage which really showcase its unusual and colourful blooms. The flowers are a magnet for bees and other pollinators!
Flowering through the Summer into Autumn, deadhead regularly to encourage more flowers. Flowers are perfect for cutting and look stunning in a mixed border or patio pot.
Grow in fertile, well-drained soil, enriched with lots of organic matter and general purpose fertiliser, in full sun. Pinch out growing tips to encourage bushy plants and stake. Water freely in dry periods. Lift and store tubers in autumn to replant or use as a source of cuttings in spring.
