Mini Golf with a Botanical Twist

Each of our eighteen holes has been carefully designed and planted to guide players through themed garden areas in a woodland setting. As you play, you’ll discover interesting facts about plants, gardens and well-known gardeners, adding an extra layer of interest for both children and adults.

But don’t let the tranquil setting fool you! Your putting skills will still be put to the test. Along the course, you’ll encounter planters to work around, obstacles to navigate, ramps to roll down, and lumps, bumps and bridges to cross.

Our adventure golf course is located at our Sherfield-on-Loddon site, just off the A33, making it easily accessible from anyone in Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire.

For a great day out, we’re a short drive from Basingstoke, Hook, Farnborough, Camberley, Crowthorne, Reading, Bracknell, and Newbury

We have a large on-site car park with free parking for all visitors.

Mini Golf FAQs

We want everyone to enjoy the golf course and to stay safe while playing. To help create a pleasant experience for all visitors, please follow the rules below.

  • Please be considerate of those enjoying the course alongside you, in particular, small children
  • Please allow faster players through

  • Please do not go into the flower beds or water

  • Please play, unless requested otherwise, the course sequentially from holes 1 to 18, keeping to the holes and pathways directing you around the course

  • Do not raise the ball off the ground level

  • Please do not swing clubs

  • Anyone entering the course over the age of 3 is required to book a ticket to play with a tee off time every 15 minutes

  • And don’t forget to have fun!

Yes, our adventure golf course has been designed to be fun and accessible for children of all ages. The holes are challenging enough to be engaging but suitable for younger players, making it a great family activity.

We recommend booking in advance during weekends, school holidays and busy periods to guarantee your preferred time slot. Walk-ins are welcome subject to availability.

Yes, there is a large on-site car park with free parking available for all visitors.

We welcome players of all abilities. Please note that our adventure golf course includes slopes, uneven surfaces, steep gradients and narrow pathways across bridges. As a result, the course is not currently accessible to wheelchair users or those with limited mobility. We’d love to help you plan your visit. Please contact us if you have specific access requirements, and we will be happy to advise.

Absolutely. Our adventure golf course is designed for all ages and abilities. Adults are very welcome to play, whether as couples, groups of friends, or corporate teams.

Adventure golf is an outdoor activity, so light rain usually doesn’t stop play. In the event of severe weather, please contact us and we will advise on your booking options.

Dogs are very welcome within the garden centre, but owners are asked to keep them on leads and ensure that they clean up after them.

Most groups complete the 18-hole course in approximately 45 minutes. This can vary though, depending on group size and how competitive you’re feeling!

How to find us:

From Basingstoke town centre:

  • Head north out of Basingstoke on the A33 towards Reading.
  • Continue along the A33 for several miles, passing Sherfield Park and heading into Sherfield-on-Loddon.

  • Turn right onto Wildmoor Lane (you’ll see a brown garden centre sign) to reach the garden centre 300 yards along Wildmoor Lane on the left.

Approximate distance & time:

  • Roughly 6–7 miles and about 15–20 minutes driving, depending on traffic.

From the M3 (Junction 5):

  • Exit the M3 at Junction 5 (signposted Hook).

  • Take the A33 north towards Reading.

  • Continue along the A33 for several miles, passing Sherfield Park and heading into Sherfield-on-Loddon.
  • Turn right onto Wildmoor Lane (you’ll see a brown garden centre sign) to reach the garden centre 300 yards along Wildmoor Lane on the left.

Approximate distance & time:

  • Around 8–10 miles and about 20–25 minutes drive from Junction 11.

From Reading:

  • Take the A33 south out of Reading towards Basingstoke.

  • Stay on the A33 for most of the journey, crossing under the M4. As you approach Sherfield-on-Loddon, turn left onto Wildmoor Lane (you’ll see a brown garden centre sign) to reach the garden centre 300 yards along Wildmoor Lane on the left.

    Approximate distance & time:

    • Around 12–14 miles and roughly 25–30 minutes drive.
