Our Locations

Consisting of six garden centres; each of the Capital Gardens sites offers an incredible selection of seeds, bulbs, garden furnishings, gifts and more. Staffed by dedicated and knowledgeable teams always willing to share their experience and expertise, the Capital Gardens centres are the perfect place to get everything you need to kit out your London or country garden.

Across the six sites, we possess the largest area devoted to the sale of plants within London – stocking rare flower genus and specimen plants, helping you create truly unique spectacles in your gardens, allotments and balcony spaces. Our other sites in High Wycombe, Berkhamsted and Basingstoke offer the same fantastic ranges.

Each of our London garden centre locations are easily accessible via car or public transport, so it’s incredibly easy to benefit from our gardening knowledge and unbeatable selection of gardening products. The sites have all been lovingly nurtured and cultivated to produce a wonderful setting to spend a few hours and gain inspiration for your own garden. Our sites outside of London have large, free parking and lovely Cafes.

Sherfield-on-Loddon Garden Centre & Café

Sherfield on the Loddon is situated in a rural setting up a country lane just north of Basingstoke off the A33. The area is famous for the lovely sinewy River Loddon which rises out of Basingstoke flowing northwards to the Thames. Just further up the lane on the right hand side there is the most wonderful standing of semi – mature British oaks which our neighbours look after beautifully. It is late May as we write so it worth celebrating our Oaks which played such a significant part in seeing off  the Spanish fleet which left Lisbon at this time 431 years ago.

Anyway, back to the present; we started the management of this garden centre in early summer this year and we will build enthusiastically on its plant offering and bring the centre more into the local community. We will feature new and exciting ranges, including the stunning new  Heston Blumenthal (local boy in Bray) barbecues. Along with the café, our plant offer and the centre’s setting, we hope to bring you a leisurely way to get your garden blossoming.

Studley Green Garden Centre & Café

Studley Green Garden Centre is nestled amongst the stunning beech woods of the Chiltern Hills. The area is famous for its population of Red Kites which soar over the chalk downlands. We started managing this centre at the beginning of September 2018 and have already started work in increasing the plant offer at this lovely rural centre. This autumn and winter we are going to specialize on offering a comprehensive collection of Hellebores, The Lenten Rose, which flourish on chalky soils. Other new and traditional favourites will be introduced such as Viburnums and ‘Itoh’ Peonies, one which will produce 50 to 60 ‘big’ flowers after 3 to 5 years! We will also be improving the ranges of garden tools, sundries, furniture, barbecues and bringing in our new and stunning giftware. There is a quiet but thriving café, ideal for a leisurely break from an otherwise busy day.

Woods of Berkhamsted Garden Centre

The modest high street shop front of Woods belies the huge selection of plants, garden furniture, presents and pet supplies available within. The friendly team are often seen popping in and out of the country-style gift shop and conservatory of foliage houseplants, helping visitors find beautiful items for their home and garden.

Proudly a central figure in Berkhamsted, the shop is well known in the area for the festive display erected every Christmas.
