Dahlia Rocco is a stunning pompon or ball variety. This plant has some of the deepest coloured flowers of all dahlias. A gorgeous deep violet-purple that is virtually black in the middle.
Dahlia Rocco is a variety that produces masses of blooms that sit on top of rich green foliage. Flowers can get up to 5cm across and the height is around 100cm.
Flowering through the Summer into Autumn, deadhead regularly to encourage more flowers. Flowers are perfect for cutting and look stunning in a mixed border or patio pot.
Grow in fertile, well-drained soil, enriched with lots of organic matter and general purpose fertiliser, in full sun. Pinch out growing tips to encourage bushy plants and stake. Water freely in dry periods. Lift and store tubers in autumn to replant or use as a source of cuttings in spring.
