Dahlia Pretty Woman is a dainty miniature variety that is part of the ‘Dark Angels Series’. The single flowerheads consist of a row of pink ‘petals’, which are a darker shade at their base. These surround a dark pink centre, that turns golden as it ages. Excellent for bees and other pollinators.
Dahlia Pretty Woman has flowerheads that top 30cm stems and contrast beautifully with the bronze-flushed foliage. Compact growth habit makes it excellent for pots and containers
Flowering through the Summer into Autumn, deadhead regularly to encourage more flowers. Flowers are perfect for cutting and look stunning in a mixed border or patio pot.
Grow in fertile, well-drained soil, enriched with lots of organic matter and general purpose fertiliser, in full sun. Pinch out growing tips to encourage bushy plants and stake. Water freely in dry periods. Lift and store tubers in autumn to replant or use as a source of cuttings in spring.
