Dahlia Night Butterfly is a gorgeous collarette/anemone flowering variety of dahlia. With a back drop of deep burgundy petals, the centre explodes with pale pink collarettes, tipped in white with deep pink bases. A bright yellow centre gives a brilliant contrast.
Dahlia Night Butterfly will reach a flowering height of 90-100cm. These will be a real talking point in the garden and, although they are stunning in a vase, you may find it difficult to cut them!
Flowering through the Summer into Autumn, deadhead regularly to encourage more flowers. Flowers are perfect for cutting and look stunning in a mixed border or patio pot.
Grow in fertile, well-drained soil, enriched with lots of organic matter and general purpose fertiliser, in full sun. Pinch out growing tips to encourage bushy plants and stake. Water freely in dry periods. Lift and store tubers in autumn to replant or use as a source of cuttings in spring.
