Dahlia Pooh is a collarette or anemone flowered variety. Vibrant orange petals with pretty yellow collarettes make this flower extremely interesting.
Dahlia Pooh grows to 100cm tall and has wonderful bright green foliage. The 9cm flowers have orange outer petals with variable yellow tips, and a yellow central disc and collar. Flowering through the Summer into Autumn, deadhead regularly to encourage more flowers. Flowers are perfect for cutting and look stunning in a mixed border or patio pot.
Grow in fertile, well-drained soil, enriched with lots of organic matter and general purpose fertiliser, in full sun. Pinch out growing tips to encourage bushy plants and stake. Water freely in dry periods. Lift and store tubers in autumn to replant or use as a source of cuttings in spring.
