Dahlia Tartan is a unique Dinner Plate variety with enormous bi-colour flowers that will add something a little unusual to any garden, patio or vase. Huge burgundy and white flower heads make this variety exceptional for cut flowers

Dahlia Tartan grows to 120cm tall with a spread of 60cm. It is a variety we would suggest you stake to ensure the heavy blooms to not collapse in strong winds.

Flowering through the Summer into Autumn, deadhead regularly to encourage more flowers. Flowers are perfect for cutting and look stunning in a mixed border or patio pot.

Grow in fertile, well-drained soil, enriched with lots of organic matter and general purpose fertiliser, in full sun. Pinch out growing tips to encourage bushy plants and stake. Water freely in dry periods. Lift and store tubers in autumn to replant or use as a source of cuttings in spring.
