Swift First Earlies Net – One of the fastest maturing seed potatoes. White skinned with a cream, waxy flesh and sweet flavour.

Variety: First Early Swift

Swift First Earlies are the earliest harvesting variety of all that produces considerable crops of white skinned oval tubers with a cream, waxy flesh that has a delicate, sweet flavour.

Ideal for growing in pots & containers or under cover due to their short, bushy foliage.

Excellent as; steam, boil, salads and Sauté.

  • Best growing in full sun but they do fine in partial shade

Planting;

Potatoes aren’t too fussy about soil, but are mildly sensitive to PH a soil that is too alkaline will mean serious scab is more likely.

Therefore we advise checking your soil before planting into the ground, if not multi purpose compost will do just fine.

It is best to chit your potatoes before planting.

After around 13 weeks small new potatoes will be ready to harvest.
