Foremost First Earlies Net – These high yielding first early seed potatoes are fantastic steamed, mashed, sautéed and of course when used for chips.
Variety: First Early Foremost
Foremost first earlies are High yielding, old British favourite ‘Heritage Potato’ that was introduced over 65 years ago.
With it’s white skinned short oval tubers and a firm but waxy white flesh, you can be assured that very tasty new potatoes are sure to be on the menu.
They are also suitable for storage allowing you to enjoy throughout the Summer months.
Excellent as; steam, mash, sauté and chips.

- Best growing in full sun but they do fine in partial shade
- Always use/consume when fresh
- Grows in most any soil

- Plant in ground or potato bags
Planting;
Potatoes aren’t too fussy about soil, but are mildly sensitive to PH a soil that is too alkaline will mean serious scab is more likely.
Therefore we advise checking your soil before planting into the ground, if not multi purpose compost will do just fine.
It is best to chit your potatoes before planting.
After around 13 weeks small new potatoes will be ready to harvest.
