Picasso Main Crop Net – This garden potato is blight and drought resistant, high yielding. Excellent for beginners to grow.

A magnificent garden potato variety being blight and drought resistant, high yielding, having fragrant flowers and very easy for beginners to grow.
Pink-eyed, oval, white skinned tubers with a cream, waxy but floury flesh that is full of flavour.
A great all rounder that stores extremely well. Ideal for mash and jackets.

- Best growing in full sun but they do fine in partial shade
- Always use/consume when fresh
- Grows in most any soil
- Chit before planting
- Plant in ground or potato bags
Planting;
Potatoes aren’t too fussy about soil, but are mildly sensitive to PH a soil that is too alkaline will mean serious scab is more likely.
Therefore we advise checking your soil before planting into the ground, if not multi purpose compost will do just fine.
It is best to chit your potatoes before planting.
After around 13 weeks small new potatoes will be ready to harvest.
