Dahlia Show ‘N’ Tell is a dinner plate variety of dahlia with enormous, show stopping blooms. Flowers are full of spikey, slightly curled orange and yellow petals that explode from the middle like a giant firework.
Dahlia Show ‘N’ Tell has strong, sturdy stems that can grow up to 100cm tall. A prolific flower producer, the blooms can last well into late Autumn and will only be cut short by frosts. We would suggest staking this variety to support its heavy blooms.
Flowering through the Summer into Autumn, deadhead regularly to encourage more flowers. Flowers are perfect for cutting and look stunning in a mixed border or patio pot.
Grow in fertile, well-drained soil, enriched with lots of organic matter and general purpose fertiliser, in full sun. Pinch out growing tips to encourage bushy plants and stake. Water freely in dry periods. Lift and store tubers in autumn to replant or use as a source of cuttings in spring.
