Dahlia Rejmans Firecracker is a fimbriata variety. Just like its name suggests, it is an explosion of spikey petals! Orange with speckles of yellow and red burst from the centre creating a firework shaped bloom.
Dahlia Rejmans Firecracker has an eventual flowering height of around 110cm. It would be perfectly placed toward the middle or back of a bed or border. We would suggest you stake this variety to avoid heavy blooms being blown over.
Flowering through the Summer into Autumn, deadhead regularly to encourage more flowers. Flowers are perfect for cutting and look stunning in a mixed border or patio pot.
Grow in fertile, well-drained soil, enriched with lots of organic matter and general purpose fertiliser, in full sun. Pinch out growing tips to encourage bushy plants and stake. Water freely in dry periods. Lift and store tubers in autumn to replant or use as a source of cuttings in spring.
