Maris Piper Main Crop – A popular UK growing variety of potato. Known for their floury texture and creamy-white flesh, making them ideal for baking, roasting, mashing, and chipping.
Maris Piper Main Crop is known for its flavour and rarely discolours when cooked. Resistant to common potato diseases, including eelworm and blight.

Planting;
Potatoes aren’t too fussy about soil, but are mildly sensitive to PH a soil that is too alkaline will mean serious scab is more likely.
Therefore we advise checking your soil before planting into the ground, if not multi purpose compost will do just fine.
It is best to chit your potatoes before planting.
After around 13 weeks small new potatoes will be ready to harvest.
