Carolus Taster Main Crop – A main crop seed potato variety that is known for its resistance to blight and its slightly floury texture.
It is an RHS Award of Garden Merit winner and is considered a gardener-friendly choice for growing on allotments or organically.
Carolus Taster Main Crop are red-eyed, yellow-skinned potatoes are produced freely, and their slightly floury, yellow flesh make them excellent for roasting.
Excellent as; roast, mash, chips or boiled.

Potatoes aren’t too fussy about soil, but are mildly sensitive to PH a soil that is too alkaline will mean serious scab is more likely.
Therefore we advise checking your soil before planting into the ground, if not multi purpose compost will do just fine.
It is best to chit your potatoes before planting.
After around 13 weeks small new potatoes will be ready to harvest.
