Capital Gardens are proud to announce that we will be sponsoring Zephirine Warde-Aldam for her London Marathon run! Zephirine is running to raise funds and awareness for a charity called RP fighting blindness. This charity does excellent work in the research for treatments for people suffering with Retinis Pigmentosa, a genetic disease which will deteriorate a person’s eyesight until completely blind. Northchurch Allotment Association – Potato Prize

For many years Woods of Berkhamsted have supplied the prize for the annual Northchurch Allotment Association potato growing competition. The Association is extremely grateful that the manager  Rachael Patey has decided to continue this long running local relationship. The winner Caroline Fudge was presented with the spade and hoe donated by Woods at the Association AGM in February.  (She is pictured here with the Association Chairman, Paul Coleman).
