Dahlia Pompon & Ball Mixed is a wonderful mix of colours. White, peach, orange pink, red and multicoloured pompon blooms. When planted together they create a riot of colour, a real treat for the eye.
Plant in late April – early May. Dahlia Pompon & Ball Mixed will grow to a height of around 85cm tall and have a spread of around 50cm. Plant en masse for a stunning display
Flowering through the Summer into Autumn, deadhead regularly to encourage more flowers. Flowers are perfect for cutting and look stunning in a mixed border or patio pot.
Grow in fertile, well-drained soil, enriched with lots of organic matter and general purpose fertiliser, in full sun. Pinch out growing tips to encourage bushy plants and stake. Water freely in dry periods. Lift and store tubers in autumn to replant or use as a source of cuttings in spring.
Dahlia tubers are available at Capital Gardens during the early spring for a limited time only or until stocks last.
