Allium Summer Drummer -Extremely tall and later flowering allium. Spherical flower heads of small, soft purple flowers atop sturdy stems. Will bud months, before releasing its individual flowers.

Allium are bulbous herbaceous perennials with a strong onion or garlic scent, linear, strap-shaped or cylindrical basal leaves and star-shaped or bell-shaped flowers in an umbel on a leafless stem.

For best results grow Allium Summer Drummer in well-drained soil in full sun.

Allium Summer Drummer is very tall and large (200 cm) so it works well mixed behind or in between other flowers.

Plant from mid to late Autumn.

Flowers late Spring time.

Attracts bees and other pollinators.

Plant your bulbs from mid to late Autumn.

Grow on in well drained soil.

Grow in borders in full sun (partial shade will also work but the more sun the better).

Plant the bulbs pointy (central stem) side up, depth should be around up to 15 cm.

If you are planting multiple be sure to give about two bulbs distance between each planting.

Once planted, water and keep hydrated during growth.
