Leucojum Gravetye Giant Taylors Bulbs

£4.99

A dependably lovely ‘Giant Snowflake’ is a plant that earns its keep in gardens across the country, giving beautiful displays. It flowers over a long period in mid to late spring, spanning the period between early daffodils and the first azaleas and summer roses. They feature 1.5inch bell shaped flowers which are produced on numerous gracefully arching stems. The tips of each flower petal are decorated with a series of green oval dots. When grown in the right location, they will naturalise and form larger clumps that thrive for years without needing to be divided.

This variety produces the largest blooms of its kind and is one of the few bulbs that will perform well in heavy duty and moist soil.

They should be planted 5inch deep in heavier, moisture retentive soil and 6inch apart in full sun to partial shade.
