The judges said: "The design and layout which creates various levels to this 1833 mid terace house has been achieved to great effect. The 'moongate' door is an excellent focal point and the talking point of all visitors!
"The use of plant material in achieving interest and a mature feel has been undertaken with great skill and the whole garden provides an effective area of privacy. A delight to judge and sit in!"
Project Brief:
Capital Gardens’ award-winning garden is situated in Islington, London and has been designed to be an ideal space for entertaining adults and children alike. The new hard landscaping scheme reflects the client’s wishes for a mature, modern space with a sense of fun and playfulness and features circular paving, seating areas, a water feature and border lighting, making the garden a delight throughout the day and night.
