Nematodes (parasitic worms) will search out the larvae in the soil media, kill them and use their bodies to reproduce in.
Simply mix up the nematodes in a watering can and drench the infested area.
The nematodes should be used as soon as possible after receipt. If you are not going to use them straight away they should be stored in a fridge.
Please check the expiry date of the pack, which is usually 2-3 weeks from date of receipt.
Use when soil temperature is above 5 C.
For control of adult flies we would recommend use of hanging yellow sticky traps.
