Traditional loam-based fomulation with limestone and sand. Recommended for the final re-potting of mature vegetables, foliage plants, trees and shrubs between March-October. Feed after 4-8 weeks or earlier if the container becomes well filled with roots. John Innes composts should not be stored from one season to another as nutrient content may become unbalanced. Not suitable for lime-hating, ericaceous plants.
