Risen from the ashes of a fire in 1974, Woods today is the largest independently owned shop in Berkhamsted. Fronting the high street, there is a country-style gift shop containing an ever changing collection of presents and novelties for all age groups.

Next to this, in a conservatory, are displays of foliage houseplants and flowering pot plants. There is a water garden and pet department, no live pets except tropical fish(!) and an outdoor plant area packed with all the favourites.

We also have a large display area for traditional and modern garden furniture. At Christmas this area is transformed with a festive display which we are told is consistently the best in the South East.
