Wood's of Berkhamsted Garden Centre Information
Risen from the ashes of a fire in 1974, Woods today is the largest independently owned shop in Berkhamsted. Fronting the high street there is a country-style gift shop containing an ever changing collection of presents and novelties.
Next to this in a conservatory are displays of foliage houseplants and flowering pot plants. These are also available in bowl and basket arrangements. There is a water garden and a pot department; no pets except tropical fish(!) and a plant area packed with all favourites.
During November the furniture area is transformed into a festive Christmas display which we are told is the best in all of Hertfordshire.
