One of the many reasons for buying a Real Christmas Tree from Capital Gardens is that we have taken great care to ensure our trees come from well managed forestry operations with a strong environmental policy. In summary, a policy which addresses the issues such as the sourcing of seed, the environmental impact of a conifer plantation, the safe use of any chemicals, the care taken to protect wildlife habitats and the re-instatement of land after the trees are harvested. Over the years we have visite dand researched many locations to source our Real Christmas Trees. We are confident that the trees supplied to our customers are environmentally sound.

Our trees are all Grade 1, Garden Centre Quality, Premium Trees and sold to you sight unseen, perishable goods.

Pot Grown Trees: Once again, Capital Gardens are offering Pot-Grown Real Christmas Trees (not 'potted') to provide you with a superior, long lasting tree this Christmas. Pot grown trees, as they sound, have been grown in a pot and are likely to have a longer life than potted (grown in a plantation and potted up for transporting) trees. These pot grown real christmas trees are also ideal for planting out in the garden following Christmas.

Cut Trees: All trees are newly cut and like any live plant material, will need to be looked after in order to maintain their freshness. After purchase, cut 1cm from the base of the tree, and place in a container of water (our stands are ideal for this). Store your tree outside in a vertical position until you are ready to display indoors. Once inside, try to avoid positioning the tree near a heat source like a radiator.

PLEASE NOTE: Cut Christmas Tree prices are £5 cheaper and Pot-Grown Christmas Tree prices are £10 cheaper in-store. This is due to increased carriage and packing costs on Christmas Trees. Orders will be despatched Monday to Thursday to ensure trees are only with couriers for one night.
