A very popular, quick-growing, round variety with white skin and solid flesh of mild flavour. Specially recommended for table and exhibition. Recommended by the National Institute of Agricultural Botany.

CULTURE: Sow May-July outdoors. For Turnip tops - sow in August, scattering seed thinly and evenly on prepared soil. Rake in lightly. (6-10 weeks maturity.)

HINTS: HEALTH BENEFIT: Both roots and green tops are high in vitamin C and fibre. CULINARY TIPS: Turnips retain their nutrients well when cooked.
