Just Green Just Aphid Killer

The insect Chrysoperla carnea, more commonly known as a Lacewing, is at its larval stage an effective predator of aphids. It has also been observed eating other pests like Thrips, Red spider mite and Moths eggs. each larvae can consume up to 50 aphids a day.

The adult lacewings do not feed on insects but are attractive insects in the garden and will use beneficial habitats like Just beneficial insect habitat or Just Ladybird house to over winter in or to shelter in on colder spring days. The adults are mainly nocturnal and will feed on pollen.

Lacewings are better suited to low growing plants like bedding or pot plants.

Just Green bottles contain buckwheat which allows the Lacewing larvae to hide from each other during transport.

It is recommended to use Lacewing larvae in greenhouses or conservatories, although spot treatments outdoors are possible when temperatures are above 12C (54F).  

Apply the Larvae when Greenfly or aphids are observed on plants.

One bottle will treat about 40-50 plants.

Simply gently shake the contents of the bottle / wafer over the infected area of the plant. For severe infestations a repeat application maybe required.
