Sinclair Growing Success Deep Root Ultra Tree and Stump Weedkiller - 200ml

Kills tree stumps (hard and soft wood), brambles and controls annual and perennial weeds such as grasses, nettles, willowherb and dandelions around the garden. Not recommended for use on lawns.

Available in two sizes, the 200ml version contains 2 sachets while the 400ml contains 4. 200ml will treat up to 6 tree stumps of 10-15cm diameter or 132m2 of perennial grasses, broad leaved weeds and other woody weeds (e.g. brambles). For larger trees and shrubs use Deep Root ultra by cutting and then treating the stump. Smaller shrubs and woody weeds (such as brambles) below 1 metre in height, do not always need cutting and Deep Root ultra can be diluted and applied as an overspray. For other annual and perennial weeds apply Deep Root ultra as a spray application.

SYSTEMIC ACTION - Deep Root Ultra is carried throughout plant systems by the plant sap. After absorption through foliage or cut stump, the ammonium salt of glyphosate is carried to the outer extremities of the plant's root system where it begins to work. Effects should be visible within 7-14 days.

TOTAL HERBICIDE - Deep Root Ultra will kill most living plant tissue and roots. As such please avoid all contact with wanted plants. After use ensure that garden sprayers and other vessels used for application are thoroughly cleaned as traces of the product left in the equipment can damage or destroy plants sprayed later.

Note: Deep Root Ultra will not cause tree stumps to degrade.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

STUMP APPLICATION (READY TO USE): For best results stump application should be made in November to March (thus avoiding application when the tree sap is rising). Cut off the corner of the sachet and pour evenly across the cut surface of the stump as soon as possible but not later than a week after felling. If a callous has formed, then expose some fresh wood by cutting or drilling into the stump surface before applying Deep Root ultra.

SPRAY APPLICATION (DILUTION REQUIRED): For spray application Deep Root ultra should be diluted with clean water. Pour the contents of the 100mI sachet into a garden sprayer, or similar and dilute to make 1 litre of spray. Spray weed leaves lightly until wet, but avoid run-off of the liquid. For best effects apply from March to October when weeds are actively growing and have a large leaf area allowing plenty of weedkiller to be absorbed. Effects may be seen within a few days but full control can take up to 4 weeks. If it rains within 6 hours of application, then effectiveness may be reduced and re-treatment is recommended.
