The Compact Rapid Rootrainer is a smaller version of the Rapid Rootrainer with 20 hinged cells, for easy opening, instead of the usual 32 cells in the propagating tray.
The grooved inside surface of the cells guide the root growth downwards, avoiding the formation of root balls. Root formation can be inspected at any time by simply opening the hinged cell to take a look.
Each Compact Rapid Rootrainer contains 20 re-usable cells 8cm deep, a holding tray and a clear plastic propagating lid - all made from recycled plastic.
Rootrainers have unique design features, and are not just another propagator cell system. Rootrainers provide the prefect start for all seeds, seedlings, plugs & cuttings, especially those that require deep root runs and those that are sensitive to root disturbance.

Opening the Rootrainer up in a book-like fashion allows for easy inspection of moisture levels and root progress, as well as easy removal of the young plants.
