Based in the Unied Kingdom, Richard Sankey and Son Ltd have been established as a manufacturer of high quality garden products for over 150 years. Sankey have continually invested in the latest machinery techniques and processes. In 1855 the company was founded to produce clay pots for the Victorian gardener, by 1912 Sankey had pioneered techniques to enter mass production.

The manufacturing facility had been completely modernised by the mid 1960s to produce pots for the growing market by injection moulding. The high levels of expertise developed in polymer processing helped Sankey to continue to evolve into one of the leading manufacturers of horticultural products, using a wide range of mouling processes including blow and rotational moulding
