Eskimo can be cropped late and stored, or overwintered on well drained soils. A very strong variety with robust tops, and high Cavity Spot and Alternaria tolerance. Variety recommended by the National Institute of Agricultural Botany. RHS 'Award of Garden Merit' winner.
CULTURE: Sow later varieties March-July, and store maincrop roots in dry sand or soil. (12-20 weeks maturity).
HINTS: Recommended for freezing. HEALTH BENEFITS: Very high in vitamin A. A good choice to get kids eating veg. CULINARY TIPS: Available nutrients actually increase with cooking - as long as not over-cooked.
